The shrimp conference 2025: Overcoming challenges and building a sustainable future
On 14 February, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development officially organized the 2025 Shrimp Development Conference with the participation of representatives of shrimp farms and enterprises in the city of Bac Lieu. In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with Minh Phu Seafood Corporation awarded 130 Tomota S3+ Growth Monitoring Solutions to shrimp farmers in 6 provinces, including Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau and Kien Giang, enhancing the digital transformation process, the application of technology in management and farming.
2024 - A natural disaster damages the crop for the farmers
According to the report published during the recent conference on the development of the brackish water shrimp industry in 2024, it can be said that this is considered a year of difficulties and losses for the Vietnamese shrimp industry. This can be seen very clearly when the flood situation in the last year is very complex, which has caused many complex transformations and this caused a heavy impact on the habitat of the shrimp. However, the impact of natural disasters cannot be too difficult for farmers when state investment and support seem to have "rescued" farmers in maintaining the stability of the fisheries sector. Through the active state support for farmers over the past year, we seem to have seen the importance of adopting technological solutions, transforming the number of management processes to optimize the steps but still be able to achieve absolute efficiency.

In order to further enhance the value of shrimp as well as create many breakthroughs in this production sector, the application of technological solutions into the pond management process will be the task to be implemented this year. Especially when we can see very clearly the current situation that the shrimp industry is facing, predicting that 2025 will be a year of even more challenges for shrimp production and development.
On 14 February, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Bac Lieu officially organized the Conference on the implementation of the task of developing brackish water shrimp by 2025, with the participation of representatives of the Ministries and Central sectors. Tomota is honored to be one of the units attending this conference as well as to be a partner in supporting the grandchildren with technology solutions to assist in the management of the farms.
2025 - Transitioning digitally flexibly, overcoming the challenge
Looking back at the overall picture of the shrimp industry over the years, despite the many hardships and losses, we have learned valuable lessons. The year 2025 requires proactivity, and innovation in production and development, especially the application of digital transformation to improve efficiency and maintain stability.

At the conference, Tomota had the pleasure of working with farmers to spread the model of applying technology to shrimp farm management. The partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the deployment of 130 Tomota S3+ solutions for farmers in the Mekong Delta region, promises to open a new direction for the sustainable development of the shrimp industry. The Tomota S3+ is a solution that assists in determining the size, weight, intestinal fullness of shrimp, helping farmers to track growth rates and detect early signs of shrimp abnormalities.
Tomota has always stand together with the farmers on every journey

Tomota wishes to be able to become the best partner for farmers on the journey of sustainable shrimp farming and development. Understanding the difficulties that shrimp farmers have overcome, Tomota believes that advanced technological solutions, process optimization will be a great assistant to help farmers easily manage the quality of the pond, control the shrimp habitat quickly and efficiently. A distinctive feature of the Tomota's convenience and versatility is its flexible control capability. Wherever they are, they can easily capture the situation of the pond remotely through their smartphone. Hence, Tomota longs to be standing together with farmers, contributing to the bountiful harvests.
